About Us

The National Association of Benefits Insurance Professionals Maryland Chapter is a statewide consumer advocacy organization of professionals in the health insurance industry who are dedicated to educating the public on critical healthcare issues, shaping health insurance legislation and raising the ethical standards of the business. Our members help employers and consumers select the health insurance plans best suited to their needs.

NABIP-MD provides members with local networking opportunities, continuing education classes and other chances to meet and learn from their peers.

NABIP-MD provides opportunities for statewide networking and a way for health insurance agents in Maryland to combine their efforts. By working together, we have a say in the media and in Annapolis. The legislative arm of the NABIP-MD gives important advice to state representatives working on laws that will affect the health insurance industry in Maryland.

NABIP-MD is part of the National Association of Benefits Insurance Professionals (NABIP) which combines the efforts of health insurance professionals from across the United States to educate its members and influence national legislators working on laws that will affect the health insurance industry in America.
